Since 1976, the Trust has helped religious organizations keep up with rapid changes in the healthcare industry and the world of employee benefits. Reta works with leading industry consultants – plan administrators, claims administrators, legal counsel, managed care coordinators, actuaries, auditors, and investment managers – to help member organizations deliver the highest standard of health benefits, offer flexibility and convenience, and respect Catholic social and moral teachings.

Reta Trust is bound by the Ethical and Religious
Directives for Catholic Health Care Services

The Reta Trust health plans only provide benefits that are in compliance with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services published by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops.

If you are a Reta health plan participant, even if you are not Catholic or even if you possess differing personal beliefs, the Reta health plans will still only provide benefits in compliance with these Directives.

Our member organizations include nearly 50 Roman Catholic dioceses, archdioceses, and religious communities. Together, these Church entities also govern the Trust – so we are truly responsive to those we serve.
